My father’s second wife (of 45 years) died in early 2016 and my father lived with me until mid-August 2016. He has been a full-time resident of Villa Serene since that time (which is now 7+ months) and he is very happy here! He particularly enjoys walking around the beautiful back yard and finds much peace and comfort there. The staff here are all amazing, kind and compassionate and I am deeply grateful for everything they do. They genuinely care for each individual resident and treat everyone (including staff) as family. It’s important for them to know how much I appreciate what they do on a daily basis and that I do not take any of them for granted. It takes a very special type of person to engage in this intimate caring service. The staff here at Villa Serene are absolutely wonderful!

My family and I wanted to thank you so much for taking such good care of my mother-in-law. She was so happy at Villa Serene. Whenever we took her home for a few hours, she couldn't wait to get back to your place. She said she missed her friends and the good food. She spoke about the caregivers like they were her family. We will recommend your home to all of our friends. Thank you so much for treating her with the respect and love she received from everyone at Villa Serene.

I wanted to share how wonderful the owner Dana, her two daughters and awesome Caregivers are. I met them over 4 years ago when I was a Hospice volunteer. I would come in once a week and play cards, do crafts or just sit outside and enjoy the beautiful backyard with the Residents. I am no longer with that particular Hospice but still come to visit monthly at Villa Serene and they welcome me with open arms. I joke that I hope they keep a bed open for me when I'm ready to move in (I'm 64 now) because I know that I will have the best possible care and Renia's great cooking.

My husband Bill lived at Villa Serene for almost 2 years before passing away shortly after Christmas. His children and grandchildren were able to spend a memorable day with him. He was to weak to come home, so Beata and Ivonne graciously allowed our family, all 12 of us, to come by on Christmas Day to open presents and have a wonderful meal. We will never forget how special that day was. Thanks to everyone there for being so good to my Bill. I will recommend you highly.

My Aunt Christine loved being a part of your community. She lived a wonderful 95 years and was well taken care of. She enjoyed spending much of her day in your lovely backyard at Villa Serene Dreaming Summit, listening to the Fountain and watching out for hummingbirds.

Thank you for taking such good care of her. I would highly recommend you to anyone.

To my friends & family,

Kathy & I wanted to let you know that our mother, Lois Jean Dildine, passed away peacefully yesterday evening in Arizona. She caught pneumonia shortly after she fractured her right humorous bone. Due to a previous heart attack that resulted in mom only having 20 percent of her heart, she had to have daily medicated breathing treatments for her lungs. These and other health issues caused her to end up in Odyssey Hospice on Friday evening, November 14th.

Mom has had a wonderful life and we will always be blessed with many years of great memories. Since March, mom has been in a beautiful assisted living ranch style home. Villa Serene Dreaming Summit that we renamed Villa Serene Resort & Spa. It is owned and operated by a Polish American family. This home was the next best place and at this point in life even better than mom’s Pennsylvania home. For the past nine months, we have been able to take mom out for family events, lunch, shopping, pedicures, rides and an occasional beer. As mom would often tell me, they do not serve beer at her new home (this was her one and only complaint). Her everyday response was “what is there to complain about”. The staff, care, food and environment were over the top. Almost daily, she played cards with caregivers and another resident. They had movie night with popcorn, birthday parties and holidays celebrations. This home also made arrangements for mom to have massages by an outside party. She looked forward to her daily shower and having her hair done up. Not so bad! Now she will finally be able to join my father. She always told everyone you could not have a better husband & father and that was why she never looked for another man.

We just want to thank all of you for kindness, support, friendship and prayers. At a later date, we will have closure in Pennsylvania with a memorial service. Please do not send flowers, just knowing you care is very much appreciated.

Thank you,
The Dildine family

Dana/Jack - I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am that dad and Esther are at your home. Nor, can I even begin to thank you for your kindness and all of your help. You two are incredible people not to mention so very special to do what you do. Thank you.

Thanks so much for your loving care of Mother. She had a wonderful home with you and I know you provided a warm, happy place for her in these last months and days. Thank you

My Father in law was under the care of Dana and Jack for 16 months. Dana was very attentive and vigilant with administrating the medications to Dad. The care that he received was excellent.

He now has returned to his home. Had he not received such good care at Villa Serene, it would not have been possible for him to finally return to his home.

Thank you so much Dana and Jack.

On behalf of our family, we want to thank you both for the superb care you have given to both Joe and Esther. We are very pleased with the progress they have made under your care. We appreciate the dignity you have shown them and the comfort you provided during their stay for the past two and half months. If you ever need references regarding the care you provide for individuals, please call upon us to offer our positive recommendations.

Thanks for all you do to serve those who need your assistance.
